General Information Counseling begins with an understanding of your background and concerns. We will collaboratively establish clear treatment goals, procedures, and a session schedule (time, place, duration) to ensure a tailored and transparent therapeutic process.
Responsibility for Adverse Events Your mental health coach will provide professional recommendations, but outcomes can vary. You agree not to hold your mental health coach responsible for adverse events such as lack of improvement, deterioration, or situations posing a risk of harm to yourself or others.

Confidentiality & Recording All consultations are strictly confidential. Your mental health coach will not record audio/video sessions or share proceedings without explicit consent. Exceptions: with your consent for supervision/training (identity protected); if legally mandated by a court; or when there is a clear and imminent danger to yourself or others (Duty to Warn). Session notes will be kept securely.

Session Policies & Terms

1. Session Scheduling & Validity

  • Mental Health Sessions will be scheduled for 45 minutes.
  • They will be conducted in online mode via Google Meet.
  • Sessions will be scheduled every week, to ensure consistent progress and improvements.
  • Make sure you book your weekly session 24 hours in advance.
  • Mental Health sessions are conducted in a private and secure setting on our end.
  • We recommend you take at least 3 sessions to gain clarity with your thoughts and emotions.

2. Confidentiality and Privacy

  • Your sessions are confidential and private.
  • Confidentiality may be compromised only in rare and legally or ethically necessary situations, such as: Serious self-harm, abuse, violence, or illegal activity.
  • Your emergency contact might be reached out to, with your consent, in case the coach foresees any potential threat to your life.
  • Brief notes shall be taken during or after sessions to support your growth and continuity of work.
  • These notes are for professional use only and are not shared.

3. Session Requirements

  • A stable internet connection and access to Google Meet.
  • A quiet, private space to ensure your emotional safety and openness.
  • A glass of water.
  • A notebook and a pen to note down homework assignments.

4. Punctuality & Late Arrivals

  • You are expected to be punctual and join the session on the previously decided time.
  • Sessions will begin at the scheduled time. If you are late, the session will still end at the originally agreed time.

5. Cancellations & Rescheduling

  • You shall have to book your first session within the first month of your plan.
  • No-shows will not be entertained or rescheduled.
  • In case of unavoidable circumstances, if you reschedule a session, it has to be booked within the week.
  • Any rescheduling requires a minimum of 24 hours notice.
  • If notice is not given within 24 hours, the session will be considered utilized and will not be rescheduled or refunded.

6. Emergency Disclaimer

  • Mental Health sessions are not meant for crisis or emergency intervention.
  • Coaches will not be liable to respond to emergency calls or messages outside of scheduled sessions without prior arrangement.
  • In case of an emergency, please reach out to local emergency numbers or crisis helplines.
  • Your improvements and growth are also dependent on your consistency and active participation.
